Summer recruiting can be a grind for college tennis coaches. For Christian and Catrina Thompson, it's more like a family reunion.
Not only to do the the twin sisters get to save money by rooming together at tournaments, they get to strengthen their sibling bond and reminisce about the past.
Their travels are even more special this summer because it's the first time they are recruiting together as head coaches.

Yale Athletics In June, Catrina was hired to take over the women's program at Minnesota after spending the last four seasons as an assistant at her alma mater, Notre Dame.
Christian is entering her fifth season as the head coach at Denver, having led the Pioneers to four straight Summitt League titles and their first NCAA win this season since 2008.
“It's pretty unique to have a set of twins as head coaches in Division I. I think it's pretty cool,” Catrina said. “It's something Christian and I have always been very passionate about. We both feel there is nothing more fulfilling than seeing young women develop and grow and giving them the opportunities that we had.”
