LAKE NONA, Fla. - Wake Forest's Stefan Dostanic will be heading to the US Open in New York this summer for the first time in seven years, while Stanford's Valerie Glozman will return for a fourth consecutive year after they topped the fields last Wednesday in the inaugural USTA American Collegiate Wild Card Playoffs at the National Campus.
The competition, introduced by the USTA this year when the NCAA Division I individual tournament was moved to the fall, featured a single elimination event for four top American collegians in men's and women's singles and four top American teams in men's and women's doubles, with main draw US Open wild cards awarded to the winners of the four finals.

Dostanic, the top seed based on his ATP ranking of 405, advanced to the final with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Michigan State's Ozan Baris, who secured his invitation by advancing to the NCAA singles final last November in Waco, Texas. Columbia's Michael Zheng, who won the NCAA title in November, joined Dostanic in the final with a 7-5, 6-2 win over Ohio State's Aidan Kim.
