Well-Rounded Brissett Eager For New Adventures at CMS

Ella Brissett attended a showcase event at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps when she was a sophomore in high school, and walked away with a good feeling about the college.
By the time she had thoroughly completed her recruiting process, the four-star senior from Houston, Texas had 10 schools high on her list. But once the coronavirus pandemic hit, Brissett didn’t get a chance to visit as many of the schools as she hoped.

It only reinforced her initial feelings about CMS, and she committed to join the Division III program in Southern California.
“I did a lot of research online over the summer and talked to a lot of coaches, and I think I had the best overall relationship with Coach Dave (Schwarz),” she said. “Having already been able to visit, I also knew I liked the campus and felt the most comfortable there.”
